When vaping was in its prime, vape companies and shops around the country would set up vape trick competition events. These events focused on who could do the best vape tricks, such as the jellyfish, French inhale, and dragon. While these competitions have tapered off over the years, there are still a handful of vape tricks that even beginner vapers can learn. We’ll start with some easy vape tricks and explain how to do vape tricks with vape, along with some links to YouTube videos. Let’s begin our vape tricks list now!
What are Vape Tricks?
Vape tricks are fascinating performances that experienced vapers have perfected to impress observers of all levels, similar to magic tricks. These hypnotizing tricks look so easy, yet require an enormous amount of time to perfect, huge plumes of vapor to perform with, and a dedication to learning them. We’ll start with the most common vape tricks tutorial, and progress to some other easy and intermediate vape tricks.
How to Blow O Rings
One of the most familiar vape tricks beloved by all is the O ring. The iconic O shape is the base for many intermediate and advanced level tricks, such as if you want to blow multiple o rings at once or perform the jellyfish! Learning how to blow vape rings is fairly simple, but you’ll need to take your time perfecting this trick. To vape o rings, take a moderate inhale of your vape to ensure your mouth (not your lungs) is filled with vapor. Form an o-shape with your lips and slightly elevate your tongue to the middle of your mouth. Gently expel the vapor from your throat, almost like you’re coughing, and the vapor should form the desired O shape. This will take a good bit of practice to get the technique down, but you should be able to form a series of o rings from a single puff fairly quickly. List of Easy Vape Tricks for Beginners
Once you’ve mastered the O Ring trick, there are several other cool vape tricks you can perform. Other vape tricks don’t require the O ring that are equally impressive and enjoyable to perform.
Jellyfish Vape Trick
The Jellyfish vape trick builds off of the O ring, so you’ll want to be comfortable blowing large O rings before you can attempt this vape trick. Start by blowing a single O ring and use your hand to push it back towards you. Blow a second O ring into the center of the first O ring and watch as the rings expand and pull to form the illusion of a cloud jellyfish. This trick will require some patience, so don’t get frustrated if it doesn’t look immediately like the picture.
The Dragon
This particular vape trick allows vapor to escape from tight holes at the sides of your mouth as well as from your nose, creating the imagery of an angry dragon. Take a deep hit off your vape but don’t inhale the vapor completely. Slightly part the sides of your lips to allow a very small amount of air to pass through, then forcefully exhale the vapor through those small passages. Then simultaneously release vapor from your nostrils by breathing out of your nose as well as the sides of your mouth. This might seem a bit overwhelming at first, so try to perfect exhaling through your nose first or through the sides of your mouth and then combine the two.
Waterfall
One of the easiest vape tricks to perform is the waterfall. Vapor pours from your mouth onto a flat surface and creeps slowly until the vapor dissipates completely. This trick is especially cool at parties where vaping is permitted. To start, fill your mouth with vapor and lower your mouth horizontally with a flat surface, about half an inch. Slowly push the vapor from your mouth, using your lungs to forcefully expel air and vapor onto the waiting surface. The vapor should flow like a waterfall from your mouth and flow onto the surface like a pool of water.
Frosty Beverages
Another cool vape trick to do at parties is what I call the “frosty beverage” trick. This works best in a partially filled glass that currently or previously had ice in it. Take a deep hit of your vape and slowly release the vapor into the glass. The cold chill from the ice allows the vapor to move sluggishly, making it appear that your glass is full of vapor! You can even swirl the glass around to watch some of the vapor spills out, but the majority of the vapor will remain in the glass until you blow it out completely.
The Vape Bubble
One of my favorite tricks to do is quite simple but extremely entertaining. You’ll need a can of bubble liquid and your trusty vape. To start, take a deep hit of your vape and blow the vapor through the bubble wand. The result will be vapor-filled bubbles! Check out this YouTube clip on how to properly execute this easy vape trick. Also, we strongly urge you don’t perform this trick around small kids, as the vapor will be released once the bubble pop, and some moms may not appreciate their kids playing with secondhand vapor.
Some Helpful Tips For Beginners
It might be tempting to spend hours practicing all of these newly discovered vape tricks, but there are some serious side effects associated with unnecessarily long vaping sessions. One of the most common side effects is a dry mouth. Make sure to drink plenty of water in between vape sessions, and avoid sugary beverages to prevent further dehydration.
If you vape e-liquid with nicotine, you should give yourself adequate time between puffs to avoid painful headaches and stomach cramping. While nicotine poisoning isn’t a common occurrence, you can still make yourself very sick by overloading your system with nicotine.
Even if you don’t vape e-liquid with nicotine, you should still give your body time to recover from the constant vapor inhalation and mental stress of learning. Instead of forcing yourself to learn for an hour at a time, try taking a few minutes a day to practice and allow your memory to progress naturally.
Remember that these tricks are perfected over time, with patience and consistent practice. Soon enough, you’ll be a vape trick master!
