Fill Line Rules!
When we vape, we are all looking to relax or to de-stress, and not want to worry about every little part of your device and whether it is working properly. But to continue to use your device for relaxation, it is extremely important that you follow a few basic rules about the operation of it or else your time using it before you must buy a new one can drastically be reduced. A lot of money can be saved.
One such thing to notice on your tank is the ‘fill line’. The fill line is the level which you shouldn't exceed when filling up the tank with your favorite e-juice from The Dollar E-Juice Club. If you were to exceed the fill line with e-liquid, many negative things can happen to your device and your entire vaping session.
First, a gurgling sound may occur once you begin to vape. This sound is literally the excess e-liquid that has begun bubbling up once it has leaked out of your device's tank.
Second, you can see major leaks occur. These leaks not only cause a great amount of liquid to potentially get inside the device and its damage components, but it is also just wasteful, both for your e-liquid and for your wallet.
Lastly, it is possible that liquid could get into the passageway of your device. When you try to inhale the vapor, you are going to get more than you bargained for and this can ruin your vaping experience and cause you to have to disassemble your entire device to clean it piece by piece to get it back in working order.
When filling your tank, be sure to fill the tank exactly to the fill line that is specified. If you under fill it, you may get a burnt taste in your mouth when you start to vape and if you over fill the tank, you may accidentally inhale the e-liquid directly as described previously. To avoid any dry hits when you first fill up your tank, you can also drip some of the e-liquid directly onto your coils so that it is primed before you even start vaping. This can drastically extend the life of your coils which usually are the most replaced part of a vape. There are other sized tanks and devices such as MODs that can be used but for the most part the idea is the same. Don't overfill these either or you will run into some similar issues.
Because e-cigarette tanks are usually much smaller than that of a vaporizer or MOD, you must be careful with the nozzle of the e-liquid bottle. Some even recommend using a syringe to fill up the smallest tanks to avoid wasting any e-liquid or overfilling the tank.
Once you fill up a tank that had previously been completely dry, be sure to take a few quick drags on your device of choice before taking the longer and deeper drags. This will properly prime the device and allow it to work properly over time.
Vaping shouldn't be something that requires you to perform a science experiment before you do it, but following a few simple rules and restraints can help greatly extend the lifetime of your device and save you a large sum of money in the process. Over time, tips like this will become second nature to you and you will be able to pass this simple and valuable advice on to someone else who is just starting out.
