3 Ways to Keep Your Pod Cartridges Lasting Longer

3 Ways to Keep Your Pod Cartridges Lasting Longer

Every vaper is perfectly aware of the fact that this hobby can get expensive. Between restocking their vape juice supply, replacing hardware and purchasing the best coils, vapers can find themselves spending a good deal of cash on a monthly basis.

However, vapers can save quite a bit of money simply by maintaining their setup properly. If you're a salt nic e-juice fan who uses a pod mod system, you can save a decent amount of money just by taking good care of your pod cartridge.

Inexperienced salt nicotine users can be quite neglectful when it comes to caring for their hardware. As a result, they may find themselves having to replace their pod cartridge frequently. That's why we've created this guide. By following these three tips, you'll be able to make each pod cartridge last for a long time, allowing you to spend less money on hardware and more money on tasty salt-based vape juice flavors.

Tip #1: Clean the Connections Regularly

If you've noticed that your pod cartridge just isn't hitting as strongly as it used to, it's time to check your connections. Pod mod systems are quite simple in design, consisting of a small battery and the pod cartridge. Despite this simplicity, careful maintenance is still required.

The pod cartridge is connected to the battery by little metal prongs. Both the pod cartridge and the battery have these prongs. This is how the battery is capable of heating up the salt nic e-liquid, allowing it to turn into thick, yummy vapor.

However, after a while, these prongs can get dirty. This is caused by trace amounts nicotine salt liquid seeping out of the pod and onto the battery connections.

To clean these connections, take a cotton swab and dip it into some water or alcohol. Then, carefully run the swab along each connection. Do this about once each week to keep them perfectly clean.

Tip #2: Use High-Quality Salt-Based E-Juice

There are a lot of cheap nic salt e-juices on the market. Many of these contain low-quality ingredients that can gunk up your pod cartridge, causing it to stop working.

Always opt for high-quality salt nicotine vape juices that are made by reputable companies, such as DJC. These juices contain ingredients that won't damage your pod cartridge.

Tip #3: Store Your Setup Somewhere Safe and Clean

Always be careful where you keep your pod device Purses and pockets can be filled with debris that ends up clogging the cartridge's mouthpiece. If the mouthpiece does get clogged, gently blow on the opposite side of it to release the piece of debris.

Save Money and Time on Cartridges

These tips will help you save money by ensuring that your pod cartridge lasts, and each vape session goes as planned.
